Auction

Our past galas and fundraising efforts have been successful, thanks in large part to the donations of parents of Blythwood and local establishments. Your generosity allows our school to continue to foster each student in their education experience.

UPDATE: The Blythwood “Mini” Silent Auction for Camps and Experiences, ending February 10, 2020, was a success! Our current tally is $11,899. We have more auctions planned for this school year, including the Main Auction in April and Live & Traditional Silent Auction at the Gala night event on May 1.

COMING UP:

End of April- “Main” Gala ONLINE Silent Auction will be launching the last week of April. We have already collected some amazing items, but are still accepting donations. See Wish List or contact  with other ideas. Stay tuned for sneak peeks on our Instagram account @blythwoodevents.

May 1- Traditional Silent Auction and Live Auction of Class Art will run exclusively at the Gala event at The Loft. A selection of silent auction items will be available on Gala night only. Class Art has been a hot seller, and under the guidance of Sarit Lipsman, parent at Blythwood and professional artist, every class has completed incredible works of art that you won’t want to miss out on. Buy your tickets now or send a proxy to bid on your behalf!

The Silent and Live Auctions are an integral piece of the Gala that enables us to reach our goals. We are searching for auction items for our Havana Nights gala. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.

Follow us on Instagram @blythwoodevents for updates on the Gala and auction sneak peeks.

What’s on our Wish List?

Our continued success relies on support from our parent community who generously supply us with auction items.  We have developed a list of local merchants we will be asking for donations, but we know that there are many services, items and unique experiences that are not on our list.

What restaurants do you frequent? Could you get a gift certificate? Would the chef be willing to host a group of 8? Would he or a sous-chef offer an at-home experience? Are you a subscriber to or on the board of a local entertainment company? Could you get tickets or a behind-the-scenes tour? Maybe lunch with the director? Do you have season tickets?  Would you give up a pair or two of tickets? Maybe an autographed ball? Do you have any vintage or special wine  that you’d be willing to donate? Do you have a vintner that you frequent that might donate a case? Do you have access to special experiences? Free/ VIP parking? A chance to play hoops with a team member? Access to hard or impossible-to-get reservations? A winery tour and lunch with the vintner?

For submissions, please contact our Silent Auction Team for more information.
